Dear Football Parent:

I am launching a football spirit wear campaign. All profits will be donated to the football team equipment fund for Coach Hall and Coach Thomas to use as they need. Whitfield parents already have order forms and I will be available Friday at Chicod football field to pass out orders forms or you can go to the www.grwhitfieldpta.com under Fundraiser/Athletic Booster. There is a sheet you can fill-out and print off. All items have a $5.00 profit margin. This project is being done as a separate fundraiser from PTA or the school. It is just to benefit the football program only and at the same time show support for your child’s team. I will be attending the Chicod parent meeting Tuesday for any questions or concerns.

I will be collecting money and orders at the following times;

  • 9-9-10   @ Jamboree     You can locate me during the games or I will be at the bus                                           after it is over.
  • 9-10-10    I will be at Chicod football field after practice. My wife will be at GRW.
  • 9-16-10 @ Game Ayden/Griffin   My wife will be there. I will be running the chains probably.
  • 9-17-10    I will be placing the orders and there is a 2 week turnaround. I won’t be taking anymore orders.

Checks may be written to Richard West or WarPaint or cash.  I will be giving you a receipt for every order.

Sorry for the delay but we have been waiting for jersey assignments.

July 8, 2010
Purpose:  Outgoing and incoming board members to do mandatory Audit of Treasury
Attendees:

Mandatory Audit of the Treasury was completed and submitted to the NC PTA per guidelines.

The 2010-2011 school year board of directors will meet again the first week in August to discuss the upcoming school year calendar.  Our goal is to provide a tentative calendar of events for the school year, including PTA meetings.  We will be focusing on membership, activities which promote family involvement, initiatives to unite parents and teachers, fundraising, and cougarwear.
